This 7-Day Bhutan Happiness tour covers the Western part of Bhutan and will show you insights into the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" or 'Druk Yul' and understand why it is still regarded as one of the last "Shangri-La's" in the Himalayan region.
You will understand why Bhutan places higher importance on people's happiness through Gross National Happiness. You can witness it yourself by interacting with different people and feeling it yourself.
The trip will include a visit to various traditional, cultural, religious, and natural heritage of Bhutan which was kept in isolation from the rest of the world until the 1960s when the country slowly embarked on a modern development.

Bhutan (Druk - a dragon Kingdom) with approximate size of Switzerland is a Buddhist Kingdom located between China and India, and is known for its peace loving people. It has been increasingly seen as tourist hotspots due its Dzongs (fortress), snow capped mountains, valleys, rivers, good forest cover and many historical and natural heritage sites that were preserved as Bhutan remained in self imposed isolation until 1960s.
